I'm Pahchie, a lifestyle family photographer based in Maple Grove, serving Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities. I'm not here for rigid poses or forced smiles — every session is gently guided, edited with a warm, film-inspired hand, and true to who your family actually is, traditions and all.
The way your toddler still reaches for your hand without thinking. The chaos of everyone trying to sit still for one photo. The quiet moment after, when no one's looking at the camera anymore. These are the things that slip by fastest and matter most — and they're exactly what I'm there to catch. Every session is gently guided, never staged, and every gallery is edited in true, warm color with a film-inspired hand. For families who want it, select frames can even be captured on actual film. The goal is simple: photographs that look like your family, not a performance of it.
I was so nervous going into our session — my toddler doesn't sit still for anything. She met us exactly where we were, gave us just enough direction to feel confident, and somehow captured moments I didn't even realize were happening. These are photos we'll have forever.
I was so unsure about this session. I didn't feel like myself, and I definitely didn't feel photo-ready. She made it so easy — a little direction, a lot of patience, and somehow every photo feels like exactly how this season actually felt. I'll treasure these forever.
Everything about those first days was a blur — exhausted, overwhelmed, completely in love. She didn't ask us to clean up or pretend to have it together. She just captured it, and now it's my favorite gallery I own.
Little ones guide the pace, and that's exactly how it should be. Rather than chasing a shot of every kid smiling at the camera at once, I follow curiosity, play, and whatever's actually happening — sometimes a game of Simon Says, sometimes just waiting quietly while a toddler decides they're ready. This lifestyle approach means real personalities unfolding naturally, so your family photos reflect who you are, not a staged version of perfection.
Every session begins with empathy, not a shot list. Before we ever pick up a camera, I want to understand your family's actual dynamic — who's shy, who's the instigator, who needs a minute to warm up. I gently guide when it helps and step back when it doesn't, always prioritizing genuine connection over posed perfection — so everyone leaves feeling seen and relaxed, not like they performed for a stranger.
From wardrobe curation to choosing the right light and location, I handle the details so you can simply be present with your family instead of managing logistics. Every gallery is edited in warm, true color with a film-inspired hand — nothing over-processed, nothing chasing a trend, just imagery that looks like how the day actually felt. For families who want it, select frames can also be captured on real film as an add-on.
Photos have a way of living on a phone and never anywhere else. For families who want to hold onto this season a little more tangibly, prints and albums are available as part of the experience — something for the wall, something a grandparent can actually hold. Never required, always here if you want it.
